Dr. Penny Kollias-Stroumbakis
Dr. Penny Kollias-Stroumbakis is a passionate and highly skilled dentist dedicated to providing superior dental care to her patients. She received a BA in Biology from New York University and graduated from New York University College of Dentistry in 1989. She completed a General Practice Residency at New York Metropolitan Hospital where she concentrated on Oral Surgery, and at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where she focused on the early detection of Oral Cancer.
Dr. Kollias-Stroumbakis started her private practice in 1991, and concentrates on Family, Cosmetic, and Implant Dentistry. Committed to continuing education, she is at the forefront of adopting the latest advancements in oral health and dentistry. She has taken extensive courses in Esthetics, Implants, Root Canal Therapy, and Gum Therapy.
Dr. Kollias-Stroumbakis has completed the 3 year surgical and prosthetic implantology post-graduate program at New York University and achieved fellowship status with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr.Kollias-Stroumbakis is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, and a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Kollias-Stroumbakis believes that excellent oral health begins with education and prevention, and has made it her mission to enlighten patients to take greater control over their own dental health.
